Why I love Visiting Disney World During the Eat to the Beat Concert Series During the Food & Wine Festival

Anytime is a good time to go to Walt Disney World in my book…but there are times that I like going even better than others.

One of those times is during the Food & Wine Festival.

While the Food & Wine Festival is fun – I do enjoy trying some of the foods…the real reason I like going during this time is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

Each year, during the entire time of the Food & Wine Festival, there are “free” concerts every single night at Epcot. Why the parenthesis around free? Because you have to pay to get into Epcot. Once you’re in, it doesn’t cost any extra. They play by the American pavilion, and it’s a great free concert. As a matter of fact, they play multiple times a night, usually for about a half of an hour each. So it’s easier to fit seeing one of the concerts into your plans.

In 2013, I was there during The Go-Go’s, Starship, and Air Supply. All three were really great concerts. Air Supply even came out into the audience and was walking around.

Since the playlist is so short, they usually play their biggest hits that everyone knows.
