Spend More Time Watching Animals with the Wild Africa Trek (Disney World Tips – 327 of 365)
If your favorite thing to do at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is to go on the Kilimanjaro Safari, and you feel that it goes way too fast, you’d love the Wild Africa Trek tour.
We did this a few years ago, and felt it was a LOT of fun, and really worth it.
During the 3-hour tour, you get to explore the areas of the Kilimanjaro Safari, but at a much, much slower pace than the regular ride goes.
If something cool is happening, you get to stay and watch it for a little while.
You’ll also get to do some neat things like go across a shaky rope bridge (secured to an overhead track of course) and things like that.
If that’s not enough, afterwards you get to go African inspired snacks.
We enjoyed most of them, and the juice they gave us was great too. We got to watch a few animals closely while eating our snack.
During the tour, a photographer will be there taking pictures of the animals you see, as well as everyone on the tour, and you’ll get access to all of those pictures, so that is really cool too since you don’t need to worry about taking pictures and you’ll get a bunch of pictures of yourself and everyone else on the tour.
You get a gift at the end of the tour as well!
