Tips for Visiting Disney World in November (Disney World Tips – 320 of 365)
If you’re looking to visit Disney World in November, here are some things to take note of:
- Now that it’s November, you’ll have a mix of weather. It won’t be hot out anymore, but you should still be able to wear short sleeves some days. The mornings and evenings will be cooler. Make sure you pay close attention to the weather before you go so you know what type of clothes to bring, as it can really vary!
- Since the kids are in school, the parks are less crowded in November, so you’ll find lines for rides to be less.
- Avoid Disney World during the week of Thanksgiving. It will be very crowded!
- During the first or second Thursday/Friday in November, schools in NJ have off. This means there will be a few more people in Disney World, but the whole state doesn’t show up, so it doesn’t make it that much more crowded. If you can avoid it, go ahead, but if you can’t, it’s nothing to worry about.
- Almost overnight, the decorations will turn from Halloween to Christmas. So this is a great time of year to see the Christmas decorations.
- The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be going on for the first part of the month, so on weekends Epcot will be more crowded. This also means that besides food and wine, there will be the “Eat to the Beat” concert series with many famous groups.
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts up this month. This means that on certain days the Magic Kingdom will be more crowded, and will close earlier than normal.
