Tips for Visiting Disney World in June (Disney World Tips – 315 of 365)

June in Disney World

If you’re looking to visit Disney World in June, here are some things to take note of:

  • It’s now summer in Disney World, and while it’s hot and humid, it’s still a little cooler than July and August.
  • There are often afternoon thunderstorms, so be prepared with ponchos. The good part is when it does rain, often people leave the parks even though the rain usually only lasts for a short time.
  • The crowds start out as ok, but as the month goes on, it gets more and more crowded as more kids get out of school. By mid-late month, it’s really crowded.
  • If you’re going to visit in June, try to visit as early in the month as you can.
  • Make sure you have fastpass+ reservations, and get to the park you want to go to before it opens. This will help you be able to go on more rides.
  • Since it’s summer, the parks are usually open late and have a lot of entertainment and activities going on to keep you busy.
