Have you ever wondered about the restaurants at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, but weren’t sure if they were for you?

If so, this free culinary tour would be perfect for you.

Every afternoon, the Animal Kingdom Lodge does a Culinary Tour for free.

It’s usually at 3:45pm but check either at AKL or call to see what time it will be going on when you want to attend. You don’t need to make a reservation, and it’s completely free to attend.

It’s a short tour of both Boma and Jiko.

The tour meets at the Boma podium, and they will walk you around the two restaurants where you will get to see the food staff preparing for dinner.

Not only will you get to see and smell some of the foods, you’ll get to taste a few as well!

This is a great way to check out the restaurants if you’re not sure if your family will like them.

By the time you’ve finished walking around and learning about both restaurants and tasting a few dishes, you’ll know for sure if they’re right for you!
