If you like the idea of going up in a hot air balloon and getting a great view of Disney World Property – but like the idea of being tethered to the ground so you can’t go too far, you’re going to love Characters in Flight.

On Characters in flight, you go 400 feet in the air, and will be there for 8-10 minutes, getting 360 views of Disney World.

When I was up there, I remember seeing parts of Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Contemporary Resort, Downtown Disney, and more!

Up to 29 people can be on board at a time, and you’ll all have plenty of room to walk around getting a complete view. According to the website, you can see up to 10 miles away!

When it’s windy, they will close down the ride. Safety is very important to them, so if you notice that the balloon isn’t going up, the odds are that it’s too windy to fly at the time.

If you’re someone who doesn’t mind heights, and wants to get an awesome view of Disney World from above, I strongly suggest trying it out!
