Shorten the Time it Takes to get Back and Forth Between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney World Tips – 122 of 365)

Boat from Hollywood Studios to Epcot

You might already know that you can walk or take a boat from Disney’s Hollywood Studios (right outside the main entrance) to Epcot (you’ll end up in the World Showcase between France and England) and back.

If you have a lot of energy, walking between the two parks is fun. If you’re exhausted, taking the boat is great.

But what if you want to take the boat – but wish it took a lot less time? It takes about 25 minutes give or take to go from one park to another via boat.

Why not consider doing a bit of both?

If you’re going from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Epcot, take the boat to the first stop – Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort. Then get out and walk the rest of the way. You’ll have avoided a good deal of walking, and will still beat the boat to Epcot.

If you’re going from Epcot to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, first walk to either Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort, or if you’re a bit tired, to Disney’s Beach Club / Yacht Club Resorts, and then get on the boat.

You’ll have saved some time, but still won’t have had to walk the whole way.
