Where to Sit on Soarin’ (Disney World Tips – 64 of 365)
Soarin’ is a ride at Epcot that will leave you feeling like you’ve just flown over California.
Not only do you get the beautiful sights, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs, and more, but you’ll even get the scents of California as well.
How does the ride work? It’s a big IMAX-type screen that’s in front of you, and while your seats go up, and you feel like you’re moving, you aren’t. It’s the scene that’s moving.
So where should you sit?
If you want the perfect view, and want to be able to pretend you’re actually soaring over California, you won’t want the feet of the people in front of you to “ruin” your view. If this is the case, you want to ask for a seat that ends in a 1. That way you’ll be the highest up, and with no one in front of you, there will be no feet in your way.
On the other hand, if you’re afraid of heights, you’re going to want to be as close to the ground as possible. If that’s the case, ask for a row ending in 3. That way you’ll be the lowest to the ground.
If you don’t remember the numbers, just ask the person when they’re putting you into a row that you’d prefer either to be as high up as possible or as close to the ground as possible, an if they can they’ll put you where you request.
