Tips for Visiting Disney World in August (Disney World Tips – 317 of 365)
If you’re looking to visit Disney World in August, here are some things to take note of:
- It’s August, so it’s going to be hot and humid. Make sure you dress comfortably.
- There are often afternoon thunderstorms, so be prepared with ponchos. The good part is when it does rain, often people leave the parks even though the rain usually only lasts for a short time.
- The kids are all out of school, so it will be crowded for most of the month.
- As you get towards the end of the month, kids will be going back to school and it will get less crowded.
- Make sure you have fastpass+ reservations, and get to the park you want to go to before it opens. This will help you be able to go on more rides.
- Since it’s summer, the parks are usually open late and have a lot of entertainment and activities going on to keep you busy.
- Since it’s peak season, you’ll see very few rides down for refurbishment. Almost everything will be open since there are so many people around.
