Learn More About Dolphins (Disney World Tips – 241 of 365)
If someone in your group really loves dolphins, they might be interested in the tour “Dolphins in Depth”.
It takes place in the aquarium at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavillion (in Epcot), and you’ll get the chance to have your picture taken with a dolphin as well as learn all about the bottlenose dolphins that are at Epcot.
It’s a 3-hour tour, and you must be at least 13 to go on the tour. Anyone under 18 must also have a parent present. It’s not an inexpensive tour (it’s currently $199 per person), but for someone who really wants to get close to a dolphin, this could be a lot of fun.
You’ll get to interact with the dolphins in waist deep water for about a half of an hour – so it’s perfectly fine if you don’t know how to swim.
You’ll also learn how the dolphins are cared for day to day, and see backstage areas where the dolphins are trained.
You’ll even get to sit on a training and research session!
If you want, you can learn more about the tour here.
