How to get the Most out of the Disney Dining Plan (Disney World Tips – 178 of 365)
Now that you’ve decided to get the Disney Dining Plan, you’ll want to get the most out of it.
Because whether it’s “free” with a package, or you’re paying x dollars a night for it, you still want to make the most of it.
That includes things like making sure you don’t waste any credits, or food for that matter. You’ll also want to make sure you pick restaurants that you enjoy, but also take advantage of the credits. If you’re going to end up paying for some food out of pocket, you’re going to want to make sure you do it right so that you’re spending as little as possible, and the dining plan is providing most of the food.
It doesn’t matter which plan you’re on – you can make sure you’re getting the most out of it.
Here are just a few ways:
- Don’t use a table service credit for breakfast. Breakfast is usually a lot less expensive than any other meal, so you’ll get a lot more out of the credit if you use it for lunch or dinner.
- Have snack credits left at the end of the trip? Get stuff to bring home, like Mickey Mouse rice crispy treats, or other cool Disney snacks.
- If you’re going to get a snack that costs just a few dollars, pay cash and save the credit for more expensive snacks.
