Visiting Sacre-Coeur in Paris
Sacre-Coeur is a beautiful basilica in Paris.
The building is unmistakable, and you can see it easily from the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, the Tour Montparnasse, etc. Personally, I think the outside is the most amazing part about it.
The inside is nice, although it’s the one place that you can’t take pictures.
The outside is incredible though, and the view of Paris is beautiful as well.
This is the one place in Paris that was difficult to get to from our hotel, on Grand Boulevards Ave. This was the only place that took 3 metros, instead of just one or two. But it was worth it.
Getting into Sacre-Coeur doesn’t cost anything. If you don’t want to walk up the steps, you can take the funicular. If you have a metro pass, this will work on that as well.
The whole area of Montmartre is worth walking around, and visiting Sacre-Coeur is a great way to start it.
