Fishing at Disney World? (Disney World Tips – 133 of 365)

Disney Fishing

You probably wouldn’t think of Disney World when you thought of places to fish.

But if you enjoy fishing, Disney World is a great place to go fishing!

Note: All Disney World fishing is catch and release only.

There are 2 types of fishing at Disney: Dockside fishing, and guided fishing excursions on a boat.

If you want to go dockside fishing, you can fish at either Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

If you’d like to go on a boat, you get to go with an experienced guide, and it will include everything you need – the rod and reel, tackle, bait (artificial and/or live), non-alcoholic beverages, and even a 1 year BASS membership.

You have more locations to choose from if you want to go on a boat. You can fish at the following marinas: Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
