Make Sure You Look at the Map! (Disney World Tips – 111 of 365)
Unless you’ve been to Disney World multiple times and know your way around each park really well, I strongly suggest you get a map at each of the 4 parks.
If you’re just aimlessly going from one ride to the next (“hey, let’s go on Pirates of the Caribbean, and then next we’ll go on the Carousel of Progress, and then the Haunted Mansion!”), you’re going to end up doing a LOT of extra walking.
If you take a look at the map, you’ll be able to easily see what rides are near where you are, so you can figure out what to do next in that area.
It’s also really helpful when trying to find lunch or dinner, or even a snack.
The food is listed on the map as well as the attractions, so you can easily find something to eat whenever you’re hungry.
This will save a lot of walking around trying to find something to eat, getting more hungry and frustrated as you go.
Plus, the maps are updated all of the time. So if there is something new, or a ride is closed for the month, they’ll be on your map, making it easier to see.
So even if you’ve been to Disney World a few times, it’s still worth getting the map!
