Consider a Day “Off” During Your Vacation (Disney World Tips – 106 of 365)

Disney Pools

If you’re spending a week or more at Walt Disney World, consider taking a day “off” somewhere in the middle of the trip.

What do I mean by a day off?

A day where you’re not at the parks all day.

The day might involve getting up late, swimming at your resort pool, shopping at Downtown Disney, visiting and walking around other Disney Resorts, watching a movie, etc.

In other words, relaxing.

No getting up extra early to make it to rope drop. No running around all day in the hot sun to see how many rides and attractions you can get on. No staying until the park closes, just so you can do everything you wanted to do.

You’ll find that a day away from the parks and being able to relax can really give everyone more energy for the rest of the trip, and will rejuvenate the whole party. It’ll be a lot easier (and more fun) to go back to the parks the next day after the day off.
