Eat Breakfast Before You Get to the Parks (Disney World Tips – 98 of 365)

Bring Breakfast

Earlier, I had a tip about stopping at Publix or another store to get foods to eat while you’re at the parks or for breakfast so that you can save money.

I want to be more general here, and just say that you should eat breakfast before you get to the parks.

Why? I have 2 really good reasons.

The first is to save money. Food in Disney World isn’t cheap, and unless you’re doing something like a character breakfast, it isn’t really very exciting either. So you might as well eat before you go to save a little money.

The second reason is to save time. Even if you’re just grabbing breakfast at a counter service or cart, you still have to stand in line, figure out what everyone wants, sit down, eat, etc…

In other words, it takes a while. Valuable time that you could be getting some rides done before the parks get crowded.

Let’s say you don’t have a car, and don’t want to get a taxi to go to a grocery store to pick up food.

That’s not a problem. That’s the same situation I’m in whenever I go.

So what do I do?

Bring breakfast with me.

Now obviously I can’t bring a carton of milk on a plane, bu there are many things you can throw in your suitcase or a carry on – breakfast/granola bars, pop tarts, bagels, cereal, crackers, etc. If you do bring cereal, you can always get some milk at your hotel on the first day and keep it in your refrigerator.

If that doesn’t sound like enough food, just eat lunch a little early. It’s probably a good idea since most meals are so big you’ll be full until dinner anyway!

So before you leave, think about what types of breakfast you can bring to keep both costs down, and give you more time at the parks.
