What Hotel to Choose on Property if You Have 5 or More People in Your Party (Disney World Tips – 66 of 365)
The least expensive rooms on Disney property are the regular rooms at the Value resorts.
But if you have 5 or more guests in your party, you won’t be able to to stay in just one.
Don’t worry. If you have 1 child that is under 3, they won’t count, and you can still stay at a Value resort with the under 3 year old as well as 4 other people in the room.
But even if you only have 2 adults and 3 children all age 3 or over, you’re not going to be able to stay in 1 room at a Value resort.
So what are your options if you want to stay on property?
- Get 2 value resort rooms – I don’t recommend this, as it’s usually a lot more expensive than some of the other options.
- Get a suite at the All Star Music resort, or Art of Animation.
- Get a room at a Moderate Resort Hotel (such as the Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort) – This is most likely your best bet, money wise. It’ll be the least expensive of all of these options.
- Get a room/suite at a Deluxe Resort Hotel – This will be a lot more expensive than the other options.
- Get a villa at a Deluxe Villa Resort Hotel – This is the most expensive option, but can sleep up to 9 people.
Before you choose which hotel to book, make sure you take a look at the prices. Depending on the dates, you never know which will be a better option for your group.
Disney has a guide that you can read to get some ideas of what hotel will best fit your needs, although for some reason they haven’t listed the Moderate Resort hotels, which are definitely good options.
