Don’t Want Your Finger Scanned to Enter the Parks? (Disney World Tips – 44 of 365)

fingerprint

When you go into any of the Walt Disney World Parks, you have to do 2 things. The first is show your ticket (whether it’s putting the card through the machine, or putting your magic band up to the reader.)

The second is to put your finger on the biometric scanner.

Disney does say they aren’t saving fingerprints, and that they’re just using it as way to make sure that each person is using their own tickets…but if you still don’t feel comfortable, you don’t need to use the biometrics scanner.

They don’t advertise this, but you can just show a photo ID and be on your way.

You can see where it says on their own website:

“If you don’t want to use Ticket Tag, you can simply carry and show a photo ID that matches the name identified with your ticket.”

It’s up to you which you would prefer to use.
