Take the Weather into Account when Planning Your Trip (Disney World Tips – 30 of 365)

When you think of Florida, you might think that every day all year round has the perfect weather. Warm, beautiful, and perfect for your vacation.

But the weather varies throughout the year, and depending on what kind of weather you like, you might not want to visit during certain times of the year.

For example, I was once in Disney World in February, and it was freezing. Literally – below 32 degrees out! Now that is not the normal of course, but Orlando does get different seasons.

In the summer months, it is very hot and humid, and it’s not unusual for the temperature to be in the 90’s. If you like that type of weather, then the summer months are when you should visit. Of course you do spend a lot of time inside, but there is definitely a lot of time spend outside as well.

This is also the time where with the most rain. Of course, it often passes very quickly and if you’re on a ride you might not even know that it rained at all!

The winter isn’t usually all that cold, and most of the time you can still wear at least short sleeves, but once in a while it can be really cold.

The spring and fall usually fall somewhere in between. Since Orlando is usually very warm, you’ll most likely be able to wear shorts, but it won’t be too hot.

If you like a certain type of temperature out, it might be worth looking up when you’ll be most likely to get that before you decide when to take your trip.

If you hate the cold, you might want to stay away during the winter months, just in case.
