Disney Aulani – Kids Stay Free in Hawaii + More!
If you want to visit Disney’s newest resort, the Disney Aulani in Hawaii, but thought it might be too expensive because of the cost to bring your whole family, you’re really going to enjoy this deal!
First of all, now through January 31st, 2013, when you travel to Disney Aulani, kids (a maximum of 3 children through the age of 17) can stay for free in existing beds!  Think about how much money you’ll save on that alone…
But that’s not all. The “Kids stay free at Disney Aulani” offer may be combined with other offers, and guess what? Another offer is available!
I can’t guarantee that the price difference will be the same for all stays, but I just put in random dates in September 2012, and for less than $5.00 extra for the entire stay, you could also upgrade to the “Kids eat Free and so much more!” promotion!
What’s that? It’s where kids ages 3-9 will get a free length of stay pass to Rainbow Reef, and for each night of your package, each child will receive 3 meals free!
Now this deal isn’t available as long as the kids stay free option. To be able to take advantage of both, you have to book now through July 14th, 2012, and travel between August 18th, 2012 and November 3rd, 2012.
There is also another condition, a 5 night minimum length of stay.
Now what exactly is it that the kids (ages 3-9) will get for free?
A length of stay pass to Rainbow Reef. What is Rainbow Reef? It’s a saltwater snorkel lagoon that’s filled with tropical fish. The Rainbow Reef experience is normally $20 for adults, $15 for children per day, or the length of stay pass is $39 for adults and $29 for children.
They’ll also get free food…what exactly will they be able to choose from?
Well, as far as food, the free choices for kids ages 3-9 are:
- ‘AMA’AMA Beachfront Restaurant, which includes – 1 appetizer for lunch and dinner, 1 entree, and 1 dessert for lunch and dinner, as well as a single serving non-alcoholic beverage.
- Makahiki Buffet, which includes – 1 full buffet (breakfast and dinner only) [Aunty’s Breakfast Celebration (character dining) is currently offered specific nights only]
- The ‘Olelo Room, which includes – 1 continental breakfast
- One Paddle, Two Paddle, or Lava Shack quick-service meal, which includes – 1 entree or 1 complete combo meal, 1 dessert for lunch or dinner, and 1 single serving, non-alcoholic beverage
(I just have to comment…don’t you love that they specify that kids ages 3-9 have to choose a non-alcoholic beverage? I don’t know about you, but I don’t know any parents willing to give their children alcoholic beverages!)
So…if you have children under 17, and especially children between the ages of 3 and 9 and were considering going to Hawaii to stay at Disney’s new Aulani resort, this seems like the perfect time. They’ll all get to stay for free, and the 3 to 9 year old children will get free food. That’s a pretty great deal, especially since the resort is still very new, so you won’t see many offers out there.
