If you love Disney, but want to do something different that not everyone has done, consider one of their tours! They have many 1-day tours (some are just a few hours each) where you can learn more about Disney, and even get to see some of the “backstage” magic that goes on that the public doesn’t normally see.

Here are just a few of the tours (The links will bring you to all of the tours for that park, including the current prices.):

Magic Kingdom:

Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour – This roughly 5-hour tour will teach you about the secrets of the Magic Kingdom. You’ll get to see the backstage of a number of attractions, and get to hear a lot of stories about Walt Disney. ($60 per person)

Disney’s Family Magic Tour – This is a 2-½ hour interactive scavenger hunt. You will search for clues in the Magic Kingdom, using you Disney knowledge. ($27 per person)

Animal Kingdom:

Backstage Safari – This is a 3-hour walking safari where you will get to see how the specialists at the Animal Kingdom meet the unique challenges of taking care of the animals that live there, as well as promote wildlife conservation. You will also get to see the animal nutrition center, the veterinary hospital, and other backstage areas. ($65 per person)

Wild by Design – This 3-hour tour will show you the efforts that go into sustaining the Animal Kingdom. You will learn how they were able to combine native art, authentic architecture, and Disney storytelling to create the Animal Kingdom.

Epcot:

Backstage Magic – This 7-hour tour takes you on a behind-the-scenes adventure through Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and Magic Kingdom. You will learn how Disney is able to create awesome special effects, entertainment, and the attractions at the Disney Parks. You will also get to see many things that the regular guest does not get to see. This tour includes lunch at Mama Melrose’s Restorante Italiano. ($199 per person)

Behind The Seeds at Epcot – Enjoy The Land pavilion? This 1-hour tour will take you on a backstage tour of The Land to show you the hydroponic crops from around the world. ($12 per person)

The UnDISCOVERed Future World – This roughly 4-½ hour tour will take you places that guests are normally not allowed. You will get to hear about Walt Disney’s legacy, and plan to build a city of the future called Epcot. ($49 per person)

Dolphins in Depth – Get a chance to be in the water with dolphins. This tour lasts about 3-hours, and you will get to learn about these amazing dolphins through up-close interaction. You don’t need to swim to be able to enjoy this tour, as you will only be in waist deep water. You will get a photograph with the dolphin, refreshments, and a t-shirt. ($150 per person)
