Voice of Travel

Since the other day I talked about one of the first sites I go to when looking to travel, I thought I would share the second place I usually go when booking travel.  Before deciding on a hotel, I always go to Trip Advisor.  You name the hotel, and there are always many reviews about the hotel. 

Of course, you should take into consideration that more people complain than write good reviews.  I find that I learn a lot about the hotel by reading the reviews.  If every person is complaining about the rooms, I take that as some good advice, and move on to the next hotel.  This in conjunction with Kayak works very well in making sure you find a great vacation at a great price.

Once you have decided on your hotel, and transportation, Trip Advisor has something else to offer.  You can just type the destination that you are going to, and you can see reviews for different activities at the destination as well.  It can really help you with figuring out what to do on your vacation.

They also include a few prices for each hotel, and I always look at that as well, just to make sure it isn’t lower than what I have already found.

I really do believe that Trip Advisor has helped me pick some great hotels, which have made my vacations at times, and now I will not go anywhere without checking the reviews on Trip Advisor first.  It’s great being able to get free information like that!
