While this is not completely a travel site, this site can help you make your next vacation cost less!  MyPoints offers you points in exchange for getting and reading emails from them.  The emails are advertisements, and every time you read them and click on the bottom to go to the advertisers site, you can get points.  You can get more points by shopping through them, but even if you don’t, you can get plenty of points just for getting and clicking on their emails.

Once you have a bunch of points, you can exchange them for many travel related items.  You can exchange your points for Hilton HHonors points, a Hyatt certificate, Marriott certificate, Ritz-Carlton certificate, or even United Miles. 

Another way to use your points to help you have a less expensive vacation is to use them to get a gift certificate to a restaurant where you will be vacationing.  Pick a gift card to a restaurant you’ve wanted to try while on vacation, and you can save the money you would have spent for something else! 

If you would prefer, they do have many other places you can use your points – such as Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Circuit City, Barnes & Noble, and many others.  You can buy new clothes for your trip, books to take along, or a lot more!

It’s a great free way to spend just a few moments a day to help lower the cost of your vacation.  I’ve been using them for a few years now, and have gotten many gift cards that I have enjoyed!
