Listen to Disney Music all Day Long!
What songs make you think about your last vacation?
While I’m writing this post, I have Disney music going on in the background.
At the moment, I’m listening to the Entrance Medley played at Epcot, but just a little while ago I heard a walkthrough of the long closed Horizons ride (also in Epcot). Just to name a few other songs I’ve heard while working today? Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast, some of the background music from the Animal Kingdom (I don’t remember the name), and You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly! from Peter Pan.
Now, you may be wondering why on earth I’m writing about music on a travel blog…and that’s a very good question. I don’t know about you, but music is a big part of my vacation. Even if you don’t really think about it, a lot of times when you are on vacation, you hear certain types of music. A perfect example is a Disney vacation. Almost the entire time you’re in the parks, you’re listening to some music, even though you might not notice it all of the time.
When I listen to music from the Disney parks, part of me feels like I’m back on vacation. When I hear Caribbean songs, I feel like I’m at the beach on an island.
Since I can’t vacation all of the time, listening to music from my vacations (such as being able to listen to Disney music in the background) really makes my day better, and makes a part of me feel like I’m back on vacation.
Now, unless you have a really large CD or MP3 collection, you aren’t going to have all of the songs you need to remember your favorite trip. Plus, it would be a lot of work to set up exactly the songs you want to hear.
