Palais Garnier – An Incredible Opera House!
The Palais Garnier is an often overlooked tourist attraction in Paris.
The funny part is, you even already know about it, even if you have never heard it called Palais Garnier.
Have you seen The Phantom of the Opera? Or at least heard of it? Well, THIS is the opera house that Gaston Leroux set the novel in!
In fact, if you go visit, you’ll see which balcony was the one he was supposed to be in.
And the chandelier that falls? Well that’s here too.
That is not the reason you should visit though.
The place is breathtaking. These pictures do not do it justice. Almost every room you walk into, you will be surprised at how beautiful it is.
To get more out of your visit, consider an audio tour. Each room you go into, you’ll be able to listen to one or more audios, getting to learn more about the opera house.
