Hershey Gardens Tulips

Tulips at the Hershey Gardens

Recently I visited the Hershey Gardens, in Hershey, PA.

I had never been to the gardens before, and love going to photograph flowers and other things in nature, so I was really excited about seeing the gardens.

Plus…it’s my favorite time of year. Spring, when the tulips are in bloom.

The tulips at the Hershey Gardens did not disappoint!

There was a large area full of tulips, and most of them were in full bloom (with a few of them still yet to open). It was a perfect time to take plenty of pictures…and I did!

If you’re looking to get outside and see flowers for a short time, then you’ll have a great time. It took us about 2 hours to go through the entire gardens…and plenty of that was because of all of the pictures I was taking.

You won’t be exhausted when you’re finished…and the gardens are very easy to walk as it’s mostly 1 circular path you can follow.

There is even a really cute children’s section.

Besides flowers, they also have some really beautiful trees!

As far as location…this is right in the middle of everything at Hershey. From the gardens, you can see the roller coasters across the street at Hershey Park. You can also see the Hershey Hotel, which is even closer to the gardens.

If you love a particular type of flower – let’s say tulips (like me!) or roses…make sure you check out their website so that you can see what will be in bloom when you visit.

If you’re looking for a nice way to spend a few hours outside, looking at nature, the Hershey Gardens is a great way to so!

Enjoy,

P.S. If you’re looking to book your next vacation, here are a few of my favorite places to search for low prices. Try Expedia, Hotels.com, or Priceline.
