Norwegian Breakaway – Just Announced Peter Max Designed Hull
As you may know by now, Norwegian Cruise Line is working on their latest ship, the Norwegian Breakaway.
Little by little, they have been announcing cool new features of the ship. Earlier this year, I wrote about some of them, including a restaurant lined boardwalk.
Today, NCL has announced another cool feature – the Peter Max designed hull. While I knew that the Breakaway was going to be sailing out of NYC when it first comes out, I didn’t know that they plan on keeping it there. To go with the NY theme, Peter Max has designed a hull with New York as well as cosmic themed imagery.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I think it looks pretty cool. If nothing else, when this ship sailing, everyone will know exactly what ship it is – even if they are too far to read the name of it!
The ship is not going to debut until April 2013, but I am already ready for it! If you take a look at some of the itineraries of the NCL Breakaway, I think you’ll see what I mean.
Some of the itineraries look really nice, and luckily I live near NYC, meaning it will be nice and easy for me to hop on a cruise on the Breakaway. I’m already hoping to get the chance sometime in 2014!
I love hearing about new features of ships that are coming out in the next few years, and hope you do too!
Enjoy,
P.S. If you’re ready to book your next cruise, I strongly suggest using Cruise Compete. You’ll be sure to get the best price as different agencies will email you with their best quote, and you can choose the lowest price.
I’ve used them recently for 2 cruises, and couldn’t believe how low the prices were. It was definitely worth getting the quotes – and it’s completely free to use!
