Before too long, I’ll be going to the airport for my next flight. Of course, this got me thinking about where I’ll park my car.  In the past I’ve tried multiple options.  I’ve parked at the airport, hired a car service, and parked at a lot near the airport.

I usually travel out of Newark Airport, and it costs a small fortune to park there. The cheapest parking they have – the economy lot – is still $18 a day. Now that’s not bad if you’re just going to be gone for a day…but it really adds up quickly!

This is why I was searching for other options….and I was reminded of About Airport Parking.

What I like about them is that they list all of the lots you can park in (both airport owned and privately owned), as well as the cost per day and what they offer.

For example, I had no idea that many of these privately owned airport parking lots will actually wash your car before you pick it up! How great is that? They have some other things you can choose from as well.

What I like best? The price. I found a lot near the airport for just $7 a day. That’s a huge price savings over the $18 a day at the airport.

Does this mean that you should always park offsite? Absolutely not. You have to take other things into consideration, such as the ease of getting to your car and back, where you have to drive to leave your car, etc.

But if you’re looking for other options, this is a really easy way to find out your options, and get great prices!
