Want to see the Top 100 Hotels & Resorts in the World?
Conde Nast Traveler has a really cool slideshow on their site that lists the top 100 hotels & resorts in the world.
I was somewhat surprised with the list, since I figured they would all be well known hotels, and would all be in big cities and exotic locations. I was wrong! Don’t get me wrong, there are some amazing hotels in Bali, Africa, and other exotic locations, but there were also many hotels that I had never heard of, as well as hotels in smaller cities. Many of them were even in the United States, and some in cities I didn’t think would have a top hotel, such as Louisville, Kentucky!
The hotels are based on readers choice ratings, and they rated the rooms, service, food, location, design, and activities.
Based on the pictures in the slideshow, I’d have to say that some of my favorites are the Hotel Caesar Augustus in Capri (number 14), Perivolas in Santorini (number 17), and the Mandarin Oriental in Prague (number 42). Don’t get me wrong though, I’d love to stay at almost any of them! How about you? Which would you like to visit?
