When traveling, you might only think you need to worry about how to get from one place to another, and how to have enough time to see everything that you want in the short time you will be on your trip. We might stop and ask for help, assuming that everyone is as nice as we are. Unfortunately, there are many people out there that aren’t looking out for your best interests, and instead want to take as much money from you as they can. Here is is a list of 13 travel scams that happen all over the world.

Some of them are obvious – like if someone calls you and tells you that you won a contest for free trip but you never entered one – that could be a scam, but other ones are far more subtle, and you might not realize you were scammed until it is way too late. Hopefully this list will help us all be a little more careful when we’re on vacation.
