Voice of Travel

In my last post, I talked about how a new year is a great time to start thinking about where you want to vacation. So, since we’re talking about where to travel…where do I want to travel this year?

At the moment, we don’t have any vacations planned. We do have a bunch of ideas though. We are thinking of going to Las Vegas in the late spring. We were last there in 2006, and a few new casinos have opened or will open within the next few months. We will probably go from a Sunday – Friday. Why? Because hotels are a lot more expensive on the Las Vegas Strip on the weekend, so going Sunday to Friday will allow us to save a lot of money!

We are also considering going on a cruise with a bunch of friends. I only say “considering” because who knows if it will end up happening. If it does though, it should be a lot of fun. At the moment it will probably be a Caribbean cruise, but I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise.

We hope to go on 3 week long trips this year, so we still have a lot of planing to do. But as it’s only the 3rd of January, we still have plenty of time.
