On December 17th, the Norwegian Pearl was christened by godmother Rosie O’Donnell. The Norwegian Pearl is the latest Norwegian cruise ship, and contains many new features. It is the first ship to have a four-lane, ten-pin bowling alley, and also has a rock-climbing wall.

For 2007, this ship will be in the Caribbean during the winter and spring, and then in Alaska during the summer. In the fall it goes back to the Caribbean. This is just the latest of Norwegian ships to be built. The next one, the Norwegian Gem will be delivered in October 2007.
